Transforming Indigenous Health

The revolutionary Hope For Health program, a Why Warriors/AHED project, has taken off this year. It has turned into a real grassroots movement with the potential to save many hundreds of Yolŋu lives in Arnhem Land. Last month, the program was featured on ABC News as well as on ABC’s Australia Wide series. The show brilliantly captured the potential of Yolngu traditional knowledge to restore health in Indigenous communities, and gave us a glimpse of what the first health retreat in Arnhem Land would look like.

Nine high profile Hope For Health ambassadors have also been announced, including celebrity chef Pete Evans and Paleo Diet pioneer Nora Gedgaudas.

Hope For Health have launched their new website, where you will find all the latest news, as well as information on how you can support this transformational project.

The success of the program has run us off our feet, and is stretching our limited resources. We are calling out for financial supporters and partners to help us manage all the activity on the ground.
