Thirty COVID 19 Videos

The production of this series of videos was funded by Why Warriors Pty Ltd with some small help. We produced them to try and fill the gap where the mainstream government messaging was not answering the questions that the Yolngu (Aboriginal) people themselves had. In fact, the government messaging was only adding confusion upon confusion.

These videos were first produced as radio programs but they were never played on Yolngu Radio due to, as we understand, the government’s one source of information control. This one source of information control, lead to massive resistance amongst the Yolngu population.  A population that traditionally usually had one of the highest vaccine take-up rates in the world.

We could see the problem that the people want their questions answered, not being forced by the government or anyone else. And in a democratic community like Australia, they should have had that access to information in their own language.  In fact, this flawed media strategy supported the anti-vax campaigns that said, amongst other things, that the government was trying to get some implant inserted through the injection so the government could control everyone.

So we looked for another way to give the people the answers they want to understand Covid 19. Finally, we came up with the idea to turn the radio podcasts into videos. So a new way of producing very effective education media was born for us.

We used these videos where ever we got the opportunities. Many people after watching the videos became fully compliant with medical requirements.  Others learn a whole lot of information about disease and virus transmission and many other cause and effect medical issues. We are now producing a series of videos on Chronic Diseases and other medical conditions using the same well-practised production method. So thanks for the opposition guys.
